Refund Policy
Last updated: 9 July 2026
Mactomator is downloadable software. Your purchase is processed by our reseller, Paddle, acting as merchant of record, and your license key is delivered to you by email immediately after payment.
Try it free before you buy
Every feature is available in a 30-day free trial, with no payment and no card required. The trial is there so you can be sure Mactomator works for you and your Mac before you pay. Because of that, we do not offer routine “changed my mind” refunds once a license has been purchased and delivered.
Digital delivery and your right of withdrawal
The license is digital content supplied immediately. By completing your purchase and receiving your license key, you ask for delivery to begin at once and acknowledge that, once it has, the 14-day right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply to distance sales of digital content no longer applies. This does not affect your rights below or any mandatory rights you have under consumer law.
When we do give a refund
We will refund your purchase if:
- Mactomator does not work substantially as described and we are unable to resolve the problem for you within a reasonable time;
- you were charged in error, or charged more than once for the same purchase; or
- a refund is required by applicable consumer law.
Refunds are considered case by case and are not a general satisfaction guarantee — the free trial serves that purpose.
How to request a refund
Email [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase, from the address you bought with, and tell us what went wrong. If something is genuinely broken, we would much rather fix it — most issues are resolved quickly. Approved refunds are issued through Paddle to your original payment method.
Effect on your license
A refunded or charged-back purchase turns off the associated license: it is revoked and Mactomator stops working on your Macs.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law, including in the EU/EEA. If you are in the EU/EEA, your legal rights regarding faulty or misdescribed digital content are unaffected.
